Tonino ("Tony") Cammarano

Tony is well known and highly experienced businessmen that has been working in the engineering and construction industry in Western Australian for over 30 years. Tony’s initial involvement in the limestone business dates back to the early 1990s when as the owner of Archistone he was involved in the development of the reconstituted limestone block that revolutionised the retaining wall market in Western Australian. Subsequent to disposing of his interest in Archistone, Tony became a director of Batchcrete Pty Ltd, and has been instrumental in developing the company into its position as a leading integrated supplier of mixing and batch plants solutions to a broad range of customers. Tony therefore brings considerable contacts and relevant experience that are invaluable to the team at Civex Group.

Lawrence ("Larry") Harding

Larry is a Founder and Managing Director of Presidio Capital, a boutique investment firm. Since 1985 he has participated in various capital market disciplines; including seven years in the fixed income markets at Westpac and Midland Montagu (HSBC), followed by a specialization in emerging credit markets with an Asian focus since 1992. Over the last few years, he has focused on developing debt and equity special situations as an asset manager and as a proprietary investor. He has a B.A. (Joint Hons) in modern languages and economics from the University of Northumbria in the UK. Outside of the Presidio group, his most active directorships have been Crescent Asian Special Opportunities (CASOP) and in key investee companies, notably the largest copper mining company in the Philippines, Carmen Copper Corp, and the Rubicon Offshore group of companies.

Ian Gibbs

Ian is a founder and principal partner of Bromius Capital, a Singapore based merchant bank focused on mining and oil and gas in across the globe. At Bromius, Mr. Gibbs his responsibility is primarily focused on the execution of Bromius’ merchant banking deals including the successful reverse takeover TSX listing of St. Augustine Gold & Copper, a large copper-gold porphyry project located in the Philippines. He is also currently chairman of Leed Resources plc, a London based natural resources’ investment company. Prior to establishing Bromius, Ian was employed the Managing Director of Crosby Capital’s merchant banking business for 10 years, focusing mainly on Crosby’s mining and oil and gas related businesses. Prior to Crosby, Ian worked for Enskilda Securities for 7 years, initially in London before moving to Singapore in 1996. He began his career with Arthur Andersen (London) and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales. Ian has an MA in Economics from Cambridge University, England.

Management Team

Peter Lowenhoff
General Manager

Peter has been part of the Limestone and Civil Limestone Construction Industries for over 25 years. During this time, Peter has owned and managed his own Limestone Construction Company, building houses, wineries and retaining walls.
Peter has since then been a Project Supervisor, transitioning to Project Manager, a position that he had held for several years.

Peter’s role is to oversee the projects, manage quarry production as well as strategy structure, budgets, people and financial outcomes.

William Martin
Project Manager

Will has a Master’s Degree in Management with a major in Finance and he worked for several years in Private banking in France before relocating to Perth.

Will has been involved in the Civil Limestone Construction Industry for 5 years, starting onsite, he evolved to work in the Project Administration and Project Management departments before joining Civex Group, where he occupies the role of Project Manager.

Clay Wirth
Senior Project Supervisor

Clay has been involved in the Civil Limestone Construction industry for 25 years and holds a Cert 4 in Business Management. In that time Clay has owned and operated his own Limestone Construction Company and provided Supervisory services.

Clay has since progressed to becoming a Senior site Supervisor for Civex Group, where he is responsible for quality, programing and materials needs for the Projects.

Gabriela Bak

Gabriela is an experienced estimator and qualified civil engineer with a background in both the civil and the mining Industry. She is responsible for preparing quotations for a large range of clients for projects involving limestone blockwork and associated civil works.

Gabriela gained experience in design and cost estimation of retaining walls, slope stability analysis for road embankments and tailings/water storage facilities. Working on scoping and prefeasibility studies for various mine sites, she was preparing tailings’ deposition and hydrological modelling, in addition to being involved in structural design of reinforced concrete elements.

Her experience to date has been accumulated on projects in Australia, Laos, Poland, Zambia and Burkina Faso.
